Therapy and testing that make a difference.

Welcome to Koser Psychological Services. My office is conveniently located about 5 minutes away from the I-295 / Rt. 70 junction in Cherry Hill. My mission is to help you find answers to questions about your child's learning and development or help you understand your own stressors and how to cope with them in a way that works for you.

Through customized and targeted testing I work to provide answers about possible learning disabilities and differences, autism, and ways to work with the challenges of ADHD. I strive to provide a setting where people from all backgrounds and identities feel comfortable, listened-to, and respected for the full person they are. My office and work style are optimized to be safe and supportive for young children who may have difficulty with transitions or feel uncertain about visiting "the doctor." My therapy approaches and techniques are based on research-based interventions targeted to each person's diagnosis and the treatment goals you have decided you want to address.

Todd Koser, Psy.D.

I earned my Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. I tailored my training at Widener to focus on working with children and families of all sorts. My dissertation investigated the collaborative relationship between same-sex couples and their child's school. After graduating from Widener, I completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Special People in the Northeast (SPIN), an agency specializing in serving children and teens with autism as well as their families. I am trained and experienced in autism diagnostic testing as well as testing to identify learning disabilities and differences in children and adults. I have participated in a research study with the PA ASERT team testing the effectiveness of a group social skills protocol for teens with autism or Asperger's Syndrome. I am a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist in both New Jersey (license # SI000554900) and Pennsylvania (license # PS017696). I have extensive experience collaborating with schools and supporting parents with preparation for school evaluations and IEP review meetings. I have lived locally in the Philadelphia area for several decades and in South Jersey for over 15 years.
